Her journey to family law began with a BA in Psychology from Widener University and a Paralegal Certificate in Corporate Finance and Business Law, providing her with the foundation to support clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions.

As someone who values facts and precision, Laura thrives in the detail-oriented world of legal practice. Her type-A personality means she doesn’t just observe—she takes charge to create positive outcomes for every client. This proactive approach, combined with her firsthand understanding of divorce after ending her own 25-year marriage in 2018, allows her to connect with clients on both professional and personal levels.

Laura’s path to Halligan LLC took her from the farmlands of Central Jersey to Philadelphia, then across the country to California before settling in Colorado in 2021. These experiences have shaped her into someone who embraces change and understands the courage it takes to start over. She knows what it feels like to rebuild a life, which makes her an invaluable advocate for clients navigating their own transitions.

Outside the office, Laura fully embraces Colorado’s adventurous spirit. Whether she’s snowboarding down pristine slopes, paddle boarding on mountain lakes, or dancing at the Grizzly Rose, she approaches life with the same enthusiasm she brings to her work. Her proudest accomplishments include winning two fitness competitions at 38 and completing the entire 870-kilometer Camino de Santiago across Spain with her son—proof that she doesn’t just talk about taking on challenges, she conquers them.
