Attorney Claire Lopez-Jauffret joined Halligan LLC in March of 2023 and we couldn’t be more excited to have her. Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, Claire earned her undergraduate degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder, with minors in Economics and Spanish. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University, and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in May of 2021.
Prior to law school, Claire worked with families whose children were involved in the criminal juvenile justice system, an experience that sparked her passion for helping families overcome challenging obstacles. While in law school, she volunteered at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Chicago, Illinois, and also participated in a legal clinic focused on sexual violence in the Anuak community of Ethiopia. Since passing the Bar, Claire has devoted her career to family law, specializing in divorce and child custody cases as well as cases involving domestic violence.
Claire is a talented and dedicated attorney who approaches each case with an individualized approach. She is licensed to practice law in the Colorado District Courts and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. In her free time, Claire enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband.
